Can Fracking Be Done Safely?

Dangerous fracking practices create problems for the environment, the people and the industry.

Here at Well Water Solutions, we believe that fracking has many benefits. Not only has fracking allowed the United States to lessen its dependence on foreign oil, it has also paved the way for a more environmentally friendly fuel source. Although natural gas is still a fossil fuel, it is the cleanest burning fossil fuel, and the rise of fracking has led to fewer greenhouse gas emissions being released. However, dangerous fracking practices have created problems, not just for the people and the environment, but for the fracking industry as well. The following is a list of some of the most dangerous fracking practices that our team at Well Water Solutions can help you address:

#1. Leaking frac tanks.

Leaks are incredibly common in low-quality frac tanks. Unfortunately, these leaks can easily lead to the contamination of ground water. A report was released by the EPA last year that found that fracking doesn’t contaminate water, but two families in Pennsylvania just won a lawsuit for $4.24 million because of contaminated water. Check out our previous blog to learn more about this suit and how Well Water Solutions can help.

Leaking frac tanks are a major problem for the fracking industry, but they aren’t the only dangerous fracking practice. Would you like to learn more about how Well Water Solutions can help to correct dangerous fracking practices and make fracking safer? If so, please stay tuned for our next blog!
