Too many people seem to ignore the positive impacts of hydraulic fracturing.
It’s easy to jump all over something when there is an issue, and with fracking, as with anything else, it is important to understand the whole picture. With our water treatment process and high-quality frac tanks, as well as other innovations in the industry, fracking is becoming more environmentally friendly. It’s a good thing too because fracking has already benefited the United States and Canada in many different ways, and it will continue to do so in the future. If you haven’t already, check out our last blog to learn about a few of the ways that fracking benefits our present and our future. Today, we will be finishing up our list:
#5. Efficiency
Appliances that utilize natural gas are generally faster and require less energy. For example, a hot water heater that uses natural gas can heat the water twice as fast as a water heater that relies on electricity. The production and delivery of natural gas is also cheaper and more efficient than electricity. Only about 10% of energy is lost in the delivery process of natural gas, whereas with electricity, 30% of energy is lost in the delivery process.
#6. Reliability
In most cases, even when the electricity is out, natural gas appliances will still work. Because natural gas systems are underground, outages are few and far between. Fracking has made natural gas abundant, which gives American and Canadian families a more reliable energy source.
As you can see, the people who believe that fracking only has negative impacts clearly don’t have all of the facts. Let us help you make fracking cleaner, safer and more environmentally friendly. Contact us today to get started.
